The fancontrol.exe file is the process MFC-Anwendung FanControl that is used by the application FanControl. The location of this executable file is in the C:\Program Files subfolder. The size of this file is 106,496 bytes. The program uses an icon on the taskbar usually next to the clock. It uses a visible window. The fancontrol.exe process can record inputs. Fan control manages rotational speed of electric fan such as the computer fan that serves for adequate cooling while minimizing noise. Modern computers increase the need for electrical power as they become more powerful. They convert power into heat that is generated by the major parts. These power supplies need forced cooling to cool the whole computer. The increase in heat generation results in increased need for higher amounts of air. The software that controls the fan is also referred to as fan control.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. fancontrol.exe. is used by FanControl, If you shut down fancontrol.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop fancontrol.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is FanControl, from your system.
