The process brwconf.exe is a file that is associated with Worm Warezov Gen, a Worm that is embedded inside an email attachment like documents wherein it distributes itself through infected email networking computers. The brwconf.exe file is considered as an independent computer application that has the capacity to make a copy of it to spread on other systems by the use of a network. The process brwconf.exe is able to cause harm on a Local Area Network that mostly results into a disconnection of all the computers involved. The brwconf.exe application has the ability to download a series of updated files on the Internet prior to the programs installed on the user’s computer without further notice. The module brwconf.exe automatically installs itself making it simultaneously running as the Windows starts, and produces a pop-up message box that acts as a decoy.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. brwconf.exe. is used by Worm Warezov Gen, If you shut down brwconf.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop brwconf.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Worm Warezov Gen, from your system.
