What is bin.exe
The software Efecte Inspector Agent from the Finnish software company Efecte is an application that deals with remote scanning of software, hardware, and several peripheral devices from a network specified by the user and organize collected data for asset management and monitoring. It has the process bin.exe as support and has the access to connect to any available computer connections such as the Local Area Network (LAN) or the internet. This process also functions along with the other applications from Efecte SM Suite such as the software Efecte CMDB and Software Asset Management from the same company. The executable program file bin.exe, referred to as BIN, is located inside the subfolders of Windows folder of the local hard drive and occupies 160 KB - 250 KB of disc space. This file is not a core file of windows and may be disabled without posing danger to the operating system.
