The process file, bdfsfltr.sys (version 0.4.386.5560) is a Windows driver that is identified as BdFsFltr Minifilter Driver or bdfsfltr that is further known to have the product name of Bit Defender On Access that is part of the software, Bit Defender Anti-Virus or bdfsfltr created by the Company, SOFTWIN S.R.L. A driver is described as, a minute software program that permits the communication between hardware and connected devices to the Personal Computer. The process file bdfsfltr.sys is digitally signed but is not regarded as a Windows system file, or neither does it have a visible window. Upon execution, it can be stopped or started from Services by other programs in the Control Panel.
