BlackBerry Device Manager is another name of the bbdevmgr.exe process. The software is literally made and developed by Research in Motion. The software make the Personal Computer communicate with the mobile device when connected to the personal computer. The bbdevmgr.exe file is usually located in the C:\Program Files\Common Files and has the files size of 233,579 bytes but this file size may vary when used on different Operating system such as the Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. The process file contains no visible window on which the user can configure the behavior of the process file. The file bbdevmgr.exe is not digitally signed by the author which means this software does not belong to the trusted company of Microsoft Operating System. The file may be removed by removing the entire software in which the file is included upon installation. The removal can be done with the use of the Add/Remove program utility located in the Control Panel of the Microsoft Operating System.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. bbdevmgr.exe. is used by BlackBerry Device Manager, If you shut down bbdevmgr.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop bbdevmgr.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is BlackBerry Device Manager, from your system.
