The batterylife.exe program is a part of the Asus portable systems for power management which is installed together with the Asus Power 4 Gear Utility. The batterylife.exe file functions as the main program utility for the Asus Power 4 Gear which is used mainly in processing the Asus systems in managing the power of the battery of the Asus computers by informing the user on the remaining minutes the laptop will stay on. The file batterylife.exe is also able to detect AC connector if hooked to the system. The file batterylife.exe automatically loaded on the computer system when the Windows starts up. It runs with the following Windows operating systems: Windows 98, Windows ME, and Windows XP. The file can be found in the C:\Program files\ Asus\ Power 4 Gear\ batterylife.exe. The file can be remove or reinstall using the add or remove programs located in the control panel services of the Windows.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. batterylife.exe. is used by ASUS Power 4 Gear, If you shut down batterylife.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop batterylife.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ASUS Power 4 Gear, from your system.
