Most reports by anti-virus programs and users identify awvvt.dll file as malware. The location of this DLL file is in the C:\Windows\System32. Known sizes for this file include 266,336 bytes, 573,492 bytes with 15% occurrence and 35 other variants. This dynamic link library file is a BHO or browser helper object that automatically loads when you start the Internet browser. Malware such as adware and spyware often use BHOs because personal firewalls often identify them as the browser itself. IDs associated with this BHO include B313D637-F405-4052-AC37-E2119AB3C8F8, 00DBDAC8-4691-4797-8E6A-7C6AB89BC441 and 69 other variants. It is not a visible program. It can record inputs, monitor applications and control other programs. Malware or malicious software is an application that is created and used to gather sensitive information, interfere or destroy computer operations, or access private systems without authorization from the owner. It can be in the form of active content, codes, scripts or other applications.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. awvvt.dll. is used by awvvt.dll, If you shut down awvvt.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
