What is  awvtt.dll

Most reviews by anti-virus programs identify the awvtt.dll file as malware. Symantec identifies this file as Trojan.Adclicker. This file is located in C:\Windows\System32 folder. Known sizes for this file include 569,396 bytes, 577,588 bytes with 11% occurrence and 26 other variants. This DLL file is a BHO or browser helper object that loads automatically when you start the Internet browser. Personal firewalls usually do not stop the activities of these BHOs because they are identified as the browser itself thus making them often used by spyware and adware for their malicious operations. The application is not visible to the user. It is a non-system file on Windows. It can monitor or change the behavior of other applications. IDs associated with this BHO include 3FE36807-69ED-45D1-B9BE-85C0E3F75B6A, 2353FCBC-012D-487B-8BF3-865C0929FBEB and 56 other variants. There is no visible window for this program. The program loads when you boot Windows. Registry key is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. The awvtt.dll file can record keyboard inputs. It has no digital signature. Authentication packages, Winlogon notification and Explorer BHOs are the automatic startup locations for this process.
