Most anti-virus programs and user reviews have classified the awtqnkhe.dll file as malware. Symantec has identified this DLL file as Trojan.Vundo. The location for this file is in the folder C:\Windows\System32. Known sizes for the file include 30,208 bytes, 25,088 bytes and 57,344 bytes with 33% occurrence. This dynamically loaded or linked file automatically executes when you launch your programs. It can control or monitor all program starts. It does not use a visible window. The awtqnkhe.dll file is associated with cloaked malware, fraudulent security program and malicious software. The process is encrypted or packed software packing process. It resists interrogation of security processes. It hides itself from security or system applications by using low level functions. It injects itself to other programs. It can be enabled as server or in process object. It loads the program upon boot up by being added as registry autostart.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. awtqnkhe.dll. is used by Trojan.Vundo, If you shut down awtqnkhe.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
