This process files bears digital signatures by MicroWorld Technologies Inc. with certificate issued by Symantec Time Stamping Services Signer –G3 and by VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer –G2. It is a non-system process that originates from the application installed in the system. It uses minimal CPU resources. This executable file is in the subfolder C:\Documents and Settings. The size of the file is 637,080 bytes. It is not a visible program. It is not a core file for Windows. The avpmapp.exe file is a legitimate process. It can monitor applications. eScan is an application that provides content security and anti-virus solutions for Windows. The automatic startup locations of avpmapp.exe file include services installed and running processes.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. avpmapp.exe. is used by eScan for Windows, If you shut down avpmapp.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop avpmapp.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is eScan for Windows, from your system.
