This dynamically loaded or linked file acts as a BHO or browser helper object that loads automatically when you start the Internet browser. BHOs are usually not blocked by personal firewalls because the firewall will identify it as the browser itself. This is the reason why it is often used by malware such as adware and spyware. It is not a core file for Windows. It can change the behavior of Internet Explorer. It can inject codes into processes. It may also terminate or execute a process. Most reports on this file have considered it as unsafe.
