The autoupdate_srv.exe file is the process called AutoUpdateSrv Appliation or AutoUpdateSrv File Description belonging to the software Alice Client Manager. The location of this process file is in the subfolder C:\Program Files. Known files sizes for autoupdate_srv.exe include 667,648 bytes and 499,712 bytes [that has 45% occurrence] on Windows XP or Windows 7 operating system. The executable file is not a system file for Windows. There is no visible window for the program. The program will run when Windows boots up. The registry key is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. It can record inputs. It is a non-system process. It originates from the software that is installed on the system. It is not CPU intensive. Alice Client Manager enables the user to acquire more users of active mobile data and achieve higher ARPU or average revenue per user. It works on providing access to intranet or Internet from PDAs [personal digital assistants] and laptops.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. autoupdate_srv.exe. is used by AutoUpdateSrv, If you shut down autoupdate_srv.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop autoupdate_srv.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is AutoUpdateSrv, from your system.
