The autoback.exe process file is associated with Emergency Recovery Utility NT or ERUNT and NT Registry Optimizer or NTREGOPT. Lars Hederer is the developer of this process. The process will load or save routinely the registry configuration that is last updated after the system has boot up. The file runs automatically upon system boot. It is the choice of the user to whether activate or deactivate the Windows configuration tab. It is not advisable though to stop the process if you are using NTREGOPT and ERUNT software. The process can be manually operated if desired. The autoback.exe file is considered safe to be operating in the system. No reports state any conflict between autoback.exe and other process files in the system. This file is legitimate. The EXE file uses an icon on the system tray for accessibility. The registry backup utility software will open a visible window when the software becomes activated. The process will inform the user of the current status of the software.
