The process atjsgt.sys belongs to the Tages copy protection driver. The file has originated from the copy protection driver created by Tages to avoid the piracy on the different games available. The file can be found in the Windows System32/drivers folder of the Windows XP and 7 operating systems. The process can be disabled from the Services through the Control Panel. All the games and programs associated with atjsgt.sys may not run properly once the process is disabled so users can disable this process only when they will not have a need for it. The atjsgt.sys runs as a counter measure to prevent possible tampering or piracy on the programs associated with it. The process is also a compressed file which may make it vulnerable to possible virus or attacks. When the process is detected to run from the System32 folder, it may possibly be a malware in disguise.
