ATI 2D Mode Component is an application that executes through the ati2mdxx.exe file. This is part of the drivers for your ATI video and graphics cards. The file displays a System Tray icon so you can easily launch the features of your ATI cards mainly for changing modes. The file launches its process upon startup.
