What is  asm.exe

Altnet Sharing Manager or AntiSpywareMaster is the service name of the process asm.exe, which is an instance of an executable or EXE file, and a part of the program called as Altnet Sharing Manager or Peer Points Manager or AntiSpywareMaster, which is developed by Locussoftcorp LTD. Once the program begins its installation process onto the computer, the asm.exe file is automatically added into the system, where it runs in the background during Windows startup, and executes itself to perform its assigned task. It is important to keep the asm.exe file running in the background, and must not be terminated, unless it causes problems that affect the performance of the system.
