The as32svc.exe is an executable file that is part of Aventail Connect Service from the software Aventail Connect by Aventail. The Aventail Connect Service is a software that provides users strong security for wireless LAN and others who need full online access away from the office. It offers users of IT-managed devices with full accessibility to main business applications and remote help desk creating the users an “in-office” experience. It automatically determines and deploys the right remote access method for corporate resources needed by the user based on policy. The Aventail Connect Service also enables secured and authorized access to web-based and client or server application and file shares. In the server environment, users can install and configure the Aventail Connect Tunnel Service so that VPN connection automatically starts without user intervention. User login is not required and no user interface or icons are displayed when carrying out tasks.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. as32svc.exe. is used by Aventail Connect Service, If you shut down as32svc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop as32svc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Aventail Connect Service, from your system.
