What is  antispy.exe

The executable process file antispy.exe is a part of the software Anti-Spy.info or Desktop Control Client that detects and removes Spyware, Trojans, Adware and Keylogger, as developed by the Company Neuber Software, Neuber Gbr or Omniquad. The process file antispy.exe is regarded as a user-initialized process and is a launcher of the Anti-Spy Firewall program that protects and shields the system of the Personal Computer from malware. The process antispy.exe also belongs to an advertising program as created by Virtual Bouncer as it is found running in the Task Manager as the process antispy.exe. The process file has several features including having its own window which prompts advertising pop-ups, has a low CPU memory usage (465kb of RAM consumed), and is a digitally Verisign signed file that can be removed or altered via the system Control Panel. It is not considered as a Windows system file and does not depend on patterns made by spyware. The process file antispy.exe is found to be located in the common path, C:\Windows\System 32\antispy.exe folder, where its’ size on Windows 7/XP are 557,672 bytes (25% of all incidences), 560,968 bytes and 19 other variants. In functionality, the process file allows to inform the user when a malware and an unknown type of spy program is detected and automatically is removed, which protects the system from real time threats.
