The executable file alsrvn.exe is a background program for the software Alcohol 120%. This software is an application with the main function of burning files into compact discs (CD) or digital versatile disc (DVD). Other features of the said application include backing up of system files or important documents and archiving of files for long-term storage and easy retrieval. This program, along with the executable file alsrvn.exe, is from Alcohol Soft. It allows Alcohol 120% to run during computer start up and pulls up system tray for the users to be able to use the application. This file can be located inside the Program Files folder of the local drive directory, and commonly eats up 53KB of storage size. This background process is not a core file of any operating system, and may be disabled without compromising the computer. However, disabling this program may affect the performance of the associated application.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. alsrvn.exe. is used by Alcohol 120%, If you shut down alsrvn.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop alsrvn.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Alcohol 120%, from your system.
