What is alert.exe
The alert.exe file is referred to as the PC Tools Smart Alert, and a component of the software of the same name, PC Tools Smart Alert, which is developed by PC Tools, or Micro-Star Int. This instance of a Windows process is digitally signed by VeriSign, VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2, and recommended to keep it stored on the computer and remain running on the system.
