Known by the service name Asset Insight (version 5.5) or Asset Insight Client Application File, the aiclient.exe process, is an instance of an executable or EXE file, and a part of the program Asset Insight Client (version 32 R2), or Asset Tracking Edition Client, or Asset Insight, which is created by Opsware, or Square D PC Systems Development, or Tangram Enterprise Solutions. Asset Insight or Asset Insight Client (version 32 R2), or Asset Tracking Edition Client is a type of a business application software, particularly an asset managing program, that is used to administer and manage system. As a component of the program, aiclient.exe is an essential part that needs to run in the background. In addition, aiclient.exe is a Windows file, which means it is compatible with most versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, or Windows OS, such as Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. aiclient.exe. is used by Asset Insight or Asset Insight Client (version 32 R2), or Asset Tracking Edition Client, If you shut down aiclient.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop aiclient.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Asset Insight or Asset Insight Client (version 32 R2), or Asset Tracking Edition Client, from your system.
