The aeiwlsta.exe is specifically deployed by these Prism wireless LAN firmware resources and device drivers as the executable application dispatcher file of the Prism Status Tray Applet, which is a small program built into these Prism wireless LAN firmware utilities and drivers. The Prism Status Tray applet, upon the activation of the aeiwlsta.exe process, implements icons, menu items and user access features into the Windows System Tray, in order for users to be conveniently informed about the status of the Prism wireless LAN device and to easily access its features through available menu options in the Windows System Tray. The aeiwlsta.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of these Prism wireless LAN device driver distributions and firmware components, which also means the aeiwlsta.exe process is included as one of the resource files and libraries packaged into the installers of these Prism drivers and firmware distributions.
