The Ashampoo Magical Defrag software can help users keep their disk defragmentation up to date. This software works even when the user does not initiate the work. It is useful in defragmenting forgotten programs that need to go through this stage. The Ashampoo Magical Defrag also operates even when the computer is asleep. The software’s process file is usually located on the C:\Program Files folder and is stored at 4,112,497 bytes size on 50% instances on Windows 7 and Windows XP operating systems. Other file size variants are 4,104,293 bytes, 4,526,193 bytes, 2,392,248 bytes, 4,149,361 bytes, and 4,538,672 bytes depending on what the computer can read. The file has a visible window that makes the user aware when this program runs.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. adefragctrl.exe. is used by Ashampoo Magical Defrag, If you shut down adefragctrl.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
