ACPI Embedded Controller Driver is the service name of the process acpiec.sys, and basically a part of the program Microsoft Embedded Controller Driver, or Microsoft Windows Operating System, which is created by Microsoft Corporation. This process is a type of driver file, and is digitally singed by Microsoft Windows 2000 Publisher - VeriSign Time Stamping Service, which also indicates that it is not recommended to be terminated or stopped, unless it is causing errors or problems that affect the performance and stability of the software Microsoft Embedded Controller Driver, or Microsoft Windows Operating System. Other than that, acpiec.sys is an instance of a Windows module, which is very compatible with certain types of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, including Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows ME, Windows 98, and Windows 95, but regardless of the operating system (OS) used, this driver file is going to function.
