Known as Echtzeitverschlüsselung, the aclive4.exe file was designed by Softwareentwicklung Dipl.-Ing. Patric Remus and belongs to the software ArchiCrypt Live Vollversion. The ArchiCrypt Live is an application designed to offer real-time protection and encryption for confidential private or business data. ArchiCrypt Live encrypts all file types on desktop computers, laptops or an authorized network. Unauthorized access is effectively prevented as long as a strong password is used. Files are encrypted using either Blowfish or the Advanced Encryption Standard (256 bit AES) algorithm. The encryption technology will effectively protect a user’s data. ArchiCrypt Live makes use of the hash functions SHA-1 (Secure Hash Algorithm 1) that is 160 bits in length and the SHA-512 which creates a 256-bit cryptographically secure hash sum. ArchiCrypt Live has different purposes in using the different hash functions. The aclive4.exe file can be found on windows folder C:\Program Files.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. aclive4.exe. is used by ArchiCrypt Live Vollversion, If you shut down aclive4.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop aclive4.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ArchiCrypt Live Vollversion, from your system.

After uninstalling applications it is a good idea to scan you Windows registry for any left over traces of applications. Registry Reviver by ReviverSoft is a great tool for doing this.
