Aacenter.exe is the process file for Asus ACPI Center, a program for the management of power-related activities in the computer machine. The process resides in the Asus motherboard that is required to run the Asus ACPI Center. Its primary job is to maintain optimum performance from the power resource of the system. Aacenter.exe comes as a preinstalled application in every Asus machine with an installed Asus motherboard. ACPI is the acronym for Advanced Configuration and Power Interface. It controls communication data for the power requirements of the computer's software and hardware. This process, however, is known to consume high processing power unit cycles during operation, thus slowing down the system. With the Asus ACPI Center, power consumption is moderated through the computer system, provided the drivers are updated. Keeping the drivers updated employs the Windows Update application. Through the Windows Update, drivers are updated and include with it the ACPI drivers.
