The a2free.exe is an EXE process that is also called a-squared free. It is associated with Emi Software Gmbh, bearing a signature from the same company. This EXE process has the following characteristics: 1) uses a software packing process; 2) can transport e-mails through SMTP Protocols; 3) deletes other processes installed from disk; 4) executes and creates other processes on disk; 5) can communicate with other system programs in a user’s system; 6) and has the ability to register a .dll file. This EXE process was first seen in 2008 from five countries globally. It is not reported as a dangerous or a suspicious file. This file may range from 1,000,000 to 25,000,000 bytes in size. This EXE program has been known as a non-malware file. To run a full scan of this file will give an assurance or a security to a user’s system. Malwares can replicate this file though to compromise the system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. a2free.exe. is used by a-squared Free, If you shut down a2free.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop a2free.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is a-squared Free, from your system.
