Clicking the Recent charm button on Start Menu Reviver displays a list of recently accessed or used files and folders.

Clearing (deleting) or turning off this list is easy.

How to delete the list of Recently accessed items:

Open up Libraries or the Windows Explorer window
Click on File, select Delete History and click on Recent Places List

This should delete and clear out the list for you.

How to turn off the Recent list feature completely:

Right-click the Start button or the task bar, choose Taskbar Properties, click the Jump List tab, uncheck the options to store recent items, click on OK.

This will ensure that your recently accessed files, folders and locations are not being stored.

For Windows 7, please refer: Clearing the Recent list in Windows 7

Hope this help!
