Fast Tip: Windows Update Fails to Update

I’m sure this has happened to some of you. You run Windows Update, and it just stops mid-update. The PC is frozen, or you get a Blue Screen of Death, or it fails mid-install and won’t give you control of your PC back. Or, you get control back, but the Windows Update screen won’t go away.

Integrated vs. Dedicated: A Difference in Graphics

Whether you own a desktop PC or a laptop PC, the graphics hardware in your machine comes in two very distinct flavors. Integrated graphics hardware shares your PC’s memory with the rest of your PC. In other words, it has no RAM of its own. Dedicated graphics hardware has its own memory and can even have its own brain, called a GPU or graphics processing unit.
