TCX files that I export from Strava.com my IMac there are automatically saved as xml file and not as a TCX file. Then I get them not loaded into my Garmin 500 from the IMac because only aa TCX files

The problem seems to lie. At my IMac My son uses a notebook from Apple and with him the problem does not occur.

Hi Bas,

Once you export (save) the files from Strava, navigate to the downloads folder, highligh each file and click command(i) or File > Get Info.

Now, rename the ".XML" part of the file name with ".TCX" and save the changes. You should now be able to transfer these files over to your Garmin device.

Hi Bas,

Change the file extensions from xml to tcx.
You would be able to transfer it then.
