Hi Tim,

I believe the best way to display your macro-enabled .PPSM file on a web page is to convert it into a Flash file (.SWF). Flash files can be interactive and support animations and other user actions.

The Flash content can be easily embedded and run (viewed) by any visitor to your web page.

You should find quite a few third party tools on the Internet to help convert your presentation into a Flash file.

If you are only looking to display an animated presentation (no user inputs) on the web, you can consider these options:

Using the ASPNET AJAX Slider control, using JavaScript with CSS, converting it into an animated gif or using the ASP.NET Ajax Animation Control

Hope this helps.

James

Thanks James - that looks helpful. I will now have to find out about .SWF! The PPt in question is 8MB and has lots of interactive vba, and hyperlinks, moving about between slides etc.

You\'re welcome. Flash is pretty powerful that way. Let us know how you go. The next option would be to post on the Microsoft Office forums to see if they can suggest alternatives

Hi Tim,

I think it should work fine in a webpage if you change the registry.
The registry entry that needs to be edited is:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\PowerPoint.ShowMacroEnabled.12]
@="Microsoft Office PowerPoint Macro-Enabled Presentation"
"EditFlags"=hex:00,00,00,00
"BrowserFlags"=dword:00000008(was formally dword:00000010)

You can also refer to the link below for information on .ppsm files:

Thank You!
Lokesh
