My PC started showing error as "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart, we're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you."? VIDEO TDR Error.. In january 2015. I took my laptop to service centre and solved it.
Now it again started showing the same error message. How can it be solved..? Can I solve it myself..??

Video TDR errors are related to either a driver failure, or a hardware failure in your graphics card.

You can check your device drivers by going to Nvidia.com and using the driver tool to find your graphics card.

IF that fails to work, it is likely that the hardware of your graphics card is failing, and will need to be replaced.

Hi Aparna,
Its an error related to display driver.
This indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.
So you can follow the below steps to fix this issue:
  1. Boot into Safe Mode.
  2. Then use System Restore to set Windows back to a point before this problem became apparent.
